Daisy Is Doing Great |
|
It's not even spring yet, but this Daisy's already beginning to bloom!
Thanks to the outpouring of compassion and generosity by you on behalf of this helpless angel, she's doing great! The day after she was placed in our care, Daisy saw a vet for life-saving surgery and treatment: Her left front leg had to be amputated, a deep wound on her hind leg needed stitches, and another injury was tended. And, she's on the mend! Because her whiskers were singed off, tongue and her fur had been burned, she will require pain patches for a while longer.

In her amazing foster home, complete with a warm, clean place to rest and love, love, love, the hearts Daisy has captured are helping her to heal from the cruelty she experienced. Let's remember Daisy's story and be motivated to do more, because we know that there are thousands of cats like Daisy out there. And they need us.

Other Kitties Needing Homes
Even though Daisy isn't ready for adoption, we have some wonderful kitties who have been waiting for that special home. These kitties are special needs or just have been in our adoption program a very long time. It may be because they are shy at adoptions, black, need daily medication, etc. PLEASE consider giving a loving, forever home to one of these kitties below in Daisy's honor.
