 We are holding Paw-ditions for the Purrr-fect cats to make it into our annual Ravishing Rescues calendar.Stray Cat Alliance (SCA) is holding its 2013 Ravishing Rescues Calendar
online pet photo contest to celebrate 12 years of success in saving
tens of thousands of cats' lives through its advocacy,
Trap-Neuter-Return free programs, outreach and adoption program.
Founded in 1999, SCA has a stellar reputation of speaking for those
without a voice who live on the streets subject to mistreatment, disease
and misunderstanding. SCA has taken the lead to continue its work in
broadening its advocacy efforts this year through legal actions to
protect cats.
During the height of "kitten season", SCA must continue providing the highest level of health for all its fosters and work to assist the public who calls for help with neighborhood strays in need of medical attention and spay/neuter. There simply is not enough financial support to help all cats and kittens, but SCA does assist all those that contact its Hotline and provides resources and education as best practices to save our strays. As SCA grows, its reach will help more. Your help through participating in this wonderful calendar contest will not only help sustain the organization during the most difficult financial time of the year, but will promote SCA's work through distribution of a calendar representing the beauty of adopted and free-roaming cats everywhere. Ear-tips welcome! Memorialize your beloved feline that has passed to Rainbow Bridge. Enjoy entering and voting as many times as you wish. First prize puts YOUR feline on the front of the calendar and inside page. The 12 subsequent top-voted photos would become 'ravishing rescues of the month' from January - December 2013 with a short bio. Tell your friends and family nationwide that they can participate as well - it's an open calendar to ALL Ravishing Rescues! Who knows, maybe your favorite feline will be on the cover of Stray Cat Alliance's 2013 Ravishing Rescues Calendar and become a star! * SCA programs are solely supported through donations, events, grants and fundraisers, such as this contest. SCA is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) charity.
