It’s an amazing time!   Our efforts to educate caring community members about the value of TNR are working:  More people than ever are calling us for traps.  That’s the great news.  The tricky news:  We’re VERY short on traps!  And we now have wait lists which means people are not able to trap and cats are breeding and you know what that means.
 
We have nearly 350 traps across our six local trap depots, but we need many more.  Our goal is to buy 100 more traps.

A little about our traps:  we use Tru-Catch brand.  They are the longest lasing, sturdiest and safest we’ve found.  Quieter than most traps, they close quietly, which prevents cats from panicking and injuring themselves by thrashing around.  The cost is $65 per trap, so our goal is to raise an immediate $6,500 for 100 traps.

It’s frustrating when a willing member of the public calls us for a trap and we don’t have any available.  Being put on a waiting list sometimes diminishes a person’s willingness to follow through.

PLEASE help us help more cats – and humans – by donating $65 for a single trap, $130 for two traps or perhaps $650 for ten new traps.
 
Any money collected over our $6,500 goal will be directly used to help pay our cats’ medical, food or spay/neuter needs.
