Here’s how Stray Cat Alliance spreads the good word to help cats. We welcome your ideas, too.

• Communication with donors on a regular basis through direct mail, educational e-blasts, newsletters, advocacy updates, reports on rescued cats, solicitations and notices of upcoming events and fundraising opportunities
• First annual photo calendar for 2010-2011
• Grant proposal submissions to reach a larger spectrum of potential program funders that support humane causes
• New Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator’s active solicitation campaign for expanding the volunteer base and inspiring current volunteers to more active participation in fundraising campaigns through a variety of contests, parties, referral programs and incentives
• Fundraising events taking place throughout the year to steward current donors and provide viable opportunities
• A five-weekend rummage sale supported by hundreds of volunteer hours and made possible through collaboration with a credit union netted substantial additional revenue for Stray Cat Alliance. Future rummage sales are in development
• Annual fundraising gala held October 23, 2010, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, achieved a net fundraising goal of $40,000
• Ongoing expansion of Board of Directors
