Feral Cat Alliance is now Stray Cat Alliance! |

|
Why did we change our name? The care and protection of feral cats will always be a top priority for us but since our inception 8 years ago, we realize that we have saved as many tame stray cats as non- domesticated feral cats. We feel the word “stray” encompasses ALL cats living on the street, including ferals. In our outreach programs, we discovered that many more people accept and listen to our message when they hear a term they are familiar with, "STRAY." We will continue to be an organization that champions for the rights of feral cats to exist free from harm and to speak up and take action on behalf of feral cats as they need and deserve our protection now more than ever. Stray Cat Alliance maintains the original mission as advocates for feral cats, stray cats and Trap/Neuter/Return ("TNR") to reduce the cat population. We will continue to support strategies to spay and neuter all companion animals, and humane programs
that are innovative and proactive that will save lives, not end them. |
