Adoption Success Stories
Matilda - Olive in the Wreath Hi Marjorie. Was so nice to hear from you and especially to see that our sweet girl was written up as one of the lucky ones. We have been a family now for over six months and she is surely the star of it. She is the darling of the Donovan family

Three kittens Jacquie saved now in loving homes

Christi's Message

More IS better... Not when you are talking about kittens, but YES to more important information and resources to help you regarding community cat issues. That's the purpose of the newly designed StrayCatAlliance.org site - to provide more content to the community in need of immediate support with stray cats issues.

Cat of the Month
Fifi is a precious tri-color calico kitty. When Stray Cat Alliance recently participated in the Best Friends adoption event at the La Brea Tar Pits Park, she did not find her forever home. She was in danger of being killed if she had to go back to the shelter so Stray Cat Alliance stepped up to the plate and rescued her!

Volunteer of the Month
Jacquie Navratil is an active volunteer with SCA having volunteered with spay/neuter clinics and tabling events. She always goes above and beyond. When SCA recently needed a kitty transporter she proved once again that she always goes that extra mile...literally driving many miles across LA. This included not only helping the community member's cat, but also assisting this senior citizen to navigate the complex health care system to find a primary care physician. Jacquie is a trapper in her neighborhood and recently bottle fed three kittens and found them foster homes. Jacquie also volunteers for SCA by providing excellent graphic artist skills. Going above and beyond for community, that's our Jacquie!

Volunteer Corner

This is an exciting time to be a volunteer at Stray Cat Alliance! Our new I Spayed LA program has just gotten started and I'm so enthusiastic about the possibilities.
