Penelope aka Harper

Hi, My name is Penelope. My four siblings and I were rescued from the South Central Shelter by a Stray Cat Alliance volunteer. We were placed into foster care, and while there we were able to play and mingle with other kittens, teenagers and older cats. One Sunday at SCA Adoptions, my future dad, Nate, saw me and asked if he could hold and pet me. I knew from his gentle hands that this was someone who would care for me. He had been without a cat for a while and was ready to adopt a kitten, so he decided it would be me! Now, we are a family and I show my contentment with purring in his lap and we share a lot of love. Oh, he changed my name to Harper which I like very much. I am a very lucky girl!
