Lend a Paw Stray Cat Alliance is a volunteer-based organization -- we depend on caring people like YOU to do all that must be done to reach as many cats in need as possible. Together we can explore how to match your interests, talents and available time with our projects to help our free-roaming cats. Here's just a few of the activities you can do to help:
Trap a Feral for Trap/Neuter/Return
Help at SCA Mailing Parties
Be on the Hotline Team to assist the public with Trap/Neuter/Return
Feed a Colony of Feral Cats
Foster rescued cats and kittens
Help at Outreach Booths to educate the public
As a member of SCA's Lend a Paw Volunteer Team, you'll find great support, camaraderie and fun in being part of our like-minded, like-hearted group--and the great feeling that comes with knowing YOU are making a direct difference for homeless cats.
BECOME A Stray CAT ADVOCATE:
- Spay or neuter your household pet and encourage others to do the same. We can refer you to low-cost spay/neuter programs.
- Become aware and alert to the stray cat situation in your neighborhood and decide on your action plan.
- Trap/Neuter/Return the feral cats in your community.
- Educate others around you about our stray cats.
- Organize your neighborhood to join you in your efforts to solve the stray cat crisis in your corner of the world.
- Adopt a rescued cat or kitten.
- Become a volunteer with the Stray Cat Alliance
- Make a financial donation to the Stray Cat Alliance to further its work in solving L.A.'s stray cat overpopulation and suffering.
